PTFA Mini Marathon

On Friday afternoon, at Wimbledon Park Athletics Track, the first Wimbledon Park Primary School Mini Marathon took place.  The event captured the imagination of the school community and close top 50% of the children took part, showing great determination and effort in completing their running challenge.

The event was not only a huge success in terms of participation, but raised over £5,000 in sponsorship and donations for the PTFA.  A huge thank you to the organising team (particularly Suzanne Kenny), the parent and staff volunteers/marshalls/warm up acts on the day and the generosity of various donors, sponsors and supporters (including Anna Arden, MoMo Kombucha, the AELTC, Merton Council).
