Academic Outcomes 

The academic profile of the school remains very strong in 2024, with results from every phase of the school very much above national benchmarks in all subjects.

The proportion of children at the end of Reception reaching the Good Level of Development was 87%, very much above the national level of 68% .  Outcomes across all individual areas of learning were very strong, averaging over 97%.

99% of children met the threshold for the Year 1 phonics check which places us in the top 1% of school nationally, well above national benchmark of 81%. 

At the end of year 2, the school’s outcomes in all subjects were well above the national benchmarks for reaching the expected standard; 87% for reading, 74% for writing and 87% for maths (with 72% reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined).

Outcomes in the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check are again very strong, with 57% of children scoring 25 out of 25 compared to the national benchmark of 29% (and 86% scoring 22 or more), and an average score overall of 23.7 (national avarege 20.2)

At the end of year 6, outcomes in all subjects were also very much above above the national benchmark for reaching the expected standard; 91% for reading, 85% for writing and 90% for maths (with 83% reaching the expected standard and 28% reaching greater depth in reading, writing and maths combined).
