Dear Parents,
Eco Week
I am sure your children have been coming home this week telling you all about the fascinating facts they have been learning about Climate Change during Eco week. A great big thank you to Miss Jessop and Miss Davies who have put so much time and effort into organising such a meaningful and interesting week. We have been privileged to have lots of visitors who have helped to really bring this topic alive for the children. Many of the children have been lobbying me about how we can make more environmentally friendly choices in school – many of which we will be looking in to.
PTFA
I would like to issue a personal note of thanks to our wonderful PTFA for all the work they have put in so far this academic year. The spring term in particular is jam packed with events, all of which require time and effort – we are really grateful. Thank you!
General
We have welcomed Lee, part of our caretaking team, this half term. Over the forthcoming weeks he will get to know more of our families. He has lots of jobs to do over February half-term – including weeding in the ‘Triangle’ Reception play space and painting our group rooms in nursery. Lisa Sturley is also working her artistic magic again in the nursery – thanks!
Please be sure that you take home any scooters/bikes, packed lunch boxes, P.E kits and check the lost property before the end of the day.
